This past weekend we took the youth group to a retreat in Ashville, NC. We left the church Sat. morning around 5 and headed back on Monday. Sunday everyone went skiing at Black Mountain. It was a terrible day for skiing! Sam was such a good baby the whole trip. I think heenjoyed being passed around and especially his first bus ride!

3 Months

It's hard to believe that Sam is 3 months now! We took him to get his pics taken last week and they turned out so good. It was extremely hard to choose...here are a few that I just loved!

It's snowing today! I doubt it will amount to anything, but it is really pretty right now!

Weekend fun

This weekend we went to the beach with 33 college students. We had a great time and Sam def. did not lack for attention. Unfortunatley, I forgot to put our card back in the camera so I don't have many pictures to post.

Long time

It's been a qujte a while since I have posted on here. Sam is now 10 weeks old and doing great. We are loving every minute of our new life with him. He is a great baby and so happy. He is growing like a weed too. He was 7 pounds 14 ounces at birth and at his 2 month appt. he weighed in at 13 pounds 13 ounces. I think he is going to be a football player. I will try to be much better at posting on here from now on. Okay, now for the pics!

Week 32

I can hardly believe that in 8 weeks (give or take a little) we will be parents. It's definatly one of the oddest things to think about. I'm so excited though. I had my 32 week appointment this morning. Everything seems to be going really well. The dr. couldn't believe that I didn't have anything like heartburn, swelling, etc... It's just been a good pregnancy and I can't complain at all. I'm so thankful for how the Lord has blessed us.
This weekend I'm heading down to NC for a baby shower. My aunts and a couple of friends are putting it all together. I'm really looking forward to it, it will be nice to see friends from church. Hopefully soon, I will post pictures of the nursery. It's coming together slowly, but it's really cute so far. Well, that's about all for now.
